Government Incentives Created For Solar Purchasers

You've done it again.  You decided to do that head gasket job yourself.  You have successfully removed the topside of the motor of your beloved 56 Chevy.  You are feeling pretty proud of yourself, and then you start at completing the task.  This is when the trouble begins.  Thank goodness your kind neighbor is a heck of a mechanic and heads right into the garage on his evening stroll through the neighborhood.  Your back on the road in no time.  Did you know that there is no "I" in "Team?"  You have learned that teamwork is an extraordinary lesson life, as cooperation is critical for us to succeed.  In one amazing cooperative effort, state and federal governments have stepped in to help people go solar.  There are many solar saving options out there and federal and state programs that can help homeowners offset the cost of installing solar panels. Across the entire country, regardless of financial background, there are credits, incentives, and subsidies available to help people purchase the low-cost solar system by an affordable solar installer, at a price many of us can handle.

Federal Tax Credits

The United States Government has been helpful in certain times to reduce significantly the cost of adding solar to as many of its citizens as possible.  Perhaps known as the most significant incentive of all, the Federal Solar Tax Credit, also known as the investment tax credit (ITC).  This tax credit allows solar purchasers to deduct 30 percent of the cost of adding solar panels to your home or property. That means for every $100,000 spent on solar panels there is a tax deduction of $30,000. For solar purchasers of all types, it is relevant that this credit applies to both residential and commercial solar systems.  Lastly, there is no limit on the amount that qualifies for the tax credit. This no limit plan is the fundamental reason why both business and residential solar installations per state grow each year.

States Have Solar Incentives As Well

Incredibly, California has 212 different programs and incentives for homeowners or businesses who install solar panels.  The Golden State has been striving to be known as the leader of solar energy installs for years.  However, the savings don't only exist in Californian, other states of the union, and even some cities also have incentive programs that can offset the cost of going solar. All 50 states have solar stimulus programs, and states that don’t have many applications still have some available ways to save through other methods. Some of them are getting breaks on their power rates during peak usage. No matter what state hail from, there are plenty of ways to offset your solar cost of installing an incredible panel set up.
